How can a daily routine become extraordinary?
Students go on a trip without washing a rice cooker. They return to be surprised by the mold growing inside. I found the mold beautiful. I began to produce paintings, using the rice cooker as a medium to “cook” artistic details on self-portraits made from daily meals.
